Our week!

Dear Families,

Whew!!! Made it through this week.  It seems that Valentine's Day is one of the most exciting days during the school year.

Highlights of this week:

Having our buddies come to our room to read our Valentine's to us!

Making pop up Valentine's for our buddies.

Attending the All School Valentine Party with our buddies. 

Having our Grandparents help us celebrate the 100th Day of School!

Kids were excited to write their numbers all the way to 100!

Literacy:
Our new sight words:  here and there

No new word family this week.

We only had book boxes two days this week.  Next week we will be back on track. 


Math:
There wasn't a math homework packet this week because we took the Unit 3 test.  We will start Unit 4 next week. This week we played a tooth game with dice. We wrote our numbers to 100 and we practiced math number stories. 

We made a class graph of how many teeth we lost. We wrote what we know about dentists and watched a short movie about a dental visit by a little girl.

Remember that there is no school on Monday!
